Michelle Saliba is a second-year PhD student enrolled in a joint doctoral program between Aix-Marseille University and the University of Rome Tor Vergata. She conducts her research under the supervision of Prof. Maria Luisa Di Vona and Prof. Philippe Knauth, with the co-supervision of Dr. Luca Pasquini. Her doctoral work focuses on the development of eco-sustainable electrodes for fuel cells and all-solid-state batteries.

Michelle obtained her Master’s degree with honors in Physical-Chemistry of Materials in 2023 from the Lebanese University in Beirut. Her Master’s thesis focused on the exfoliation of MoS₂ using mechanosynthesis and liquid-phase exfoliation, and its application as a photocatalyst for the degradation of organic dyes such as methyl orange. She is currently pursuing her PhD studies between Aix-Marseille University and the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
